Scope
Clinical staff needed to record medical supply usage without returning to desktop scanning stations. The existing process relied on collecting barcodes and entering information manually.
Actions
I designed a mobile experience with scanning and item management workflows for use in clinical settings. Touch-friendly controls, clear navigation and accessible interface patterns helped staff record supply usage where the work takes place.
Results
Smart-X supports supply tracking across operating theatres, emergency departments and wards. Mobile scanning reduces reliance on fixed workstations and simplifies the recording of medical supply usage.
