TAFE Digital shopping window
Scope:
At a time when most educational websites were generic and corporate, TAFE Digital needed a digital presence that resonated with a younger, tech-savvy audience. In addition to leading the redesign of the Online Learning System (OLS), I was also tasked with redesigning the main TAFE Digital website – where users search for and enrol in online courses.
Action:
I translated TAFE’s distinctive graphic design language into a bold, youth-focused digital experience. The website was designed to feel modern, intuitive, and aspirational, helping students easily explore available courses and pathways. I managed the design of both the main site and the OLS for over nine years, ensuring visual and functional consistency across platforms while continually refining both systems to meet evolving user needs and technologies.
Results:
The redesigned website became the primary gateway for millions of students enrolling in online courses and played a key role in redefining TAFE Digital’s online identity. It elevated the organisation’s brand, set a new standard for digital engagement in the education sector, and supported TAFE’s shift toward mobile-first, user-centred service delivery.
