Public information services

Scope:
In 2019, the NSW Government launched the Live Events platform – an initiative aimed at helping citizens navigate key life milestones such as birth, education, property, retirement, and death. This platform was part of a broader vision to evolve into a comprehensive digital government service, giving NSW residents easy access to crucial information, practical tips, and everyday government services in one place.

Action:
I’ve designed the website model, UX, and UI, and participated in the development of the platform, which was built using a headless CMS architecture to ensure flexibility and scalability. I created a modular content system that allowed information to be easily reused and adapted across multiple NSW Government websites, improving consistency, accessibility, and maintainability across departments.

Results:
The platform laid the foundation for a unified, citizen-focused digital experience. Its reusable content model improved efficiency for content teams and made critical information more accessible to users. It also supported the government’s long-term strategy of delivering connected, user-centric digital services across agencies.
