Building the image of the national team
Scope:
I was hired by Football Australia to design and maintain the Socceroos’ official website and various A-League club sites. My role also involved creating graphic design assets for corporate functions and events, as well as video editing to support promotional efforts. This work occurred during Australia’s campaign to host the FIFA World Cup.
Action:
With my deep passion for football, I approached my role at Football Australia with utmost pleasure. I was responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Socceroos’ official website and as well as various A-League club sites, ensuring they reflected the rapid growth and rising popularity of soccer in Australia. My personal love for the sport directly inspired my designs. In addition to web design, I created graphic assets for corporate functions and events, contributed to video editing for promotional content, and managed pre-sale ticket access through EDM communication with registered fans, driving engagement and excitement for the national team.
Results:
My work contributed to elevating the profile of soccer in Australia, helping it become the sport with the largest grassroots participation in the country. The websites and design assets I created helped build the digital image of the national team and A-League clubs, strengthening their connection with fans during a time of tremendous growth and increasing national interest.
